Today is a sad day here at M&HM. This weekend we recieved news that a follower of the blog, believer of the music, a true soul, A DEAR FRIEND has passed. Over a stupid thing an innocent person with a beautiful heart and follower of House music has left us. It's funny he used to say "I belive that when we die we go to another dimension, and I just hope they have house music there." This is post is dedicated to the memory of our dear close friend....... Lisney Dax Oliveira. May you Rest In Peace.

As the saying goes, All Good Things Must Come To An End, and after a long and beautiful week... well it has. WMC/Ultra changed my life again as it always does every year. From Tommy Bones to Swedish House Mafia, and from hearing Sonic C's Sticking like 5 times to a GOD-LIKE performance from Carl Cox, I can definitely say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! Well I havent done it in a while but here it is again. Feature artist of the week. You really might not know who this artist is from just looking at the picture. But you'll be surprised by who it is. You what really grinds my gears? Bad dj's!!! Over the last week i have had to the opportunity to go to two clubs scoop in Boca Raton, and Living Room in Fort Lauderdale. Both motha fuck times it kinda killed my experience because of bad dj's. First dude (scoop dj) mixin was oooooook.... but didnt play enough good music to keep me entertained. Second guy (now at the living room) real cheesy guy played some great music but mixing was horrible!!!! When i say horrible i mean like i wanted to jump in the booth myself and say bitch im takin over. He played the same god damn sample over and over and over every 5 sec. and he cut the music randomly and i was wtf mate. But yea why dont these nice clubs give actual good dj's a chance (not pointing any bows GUARO & MIOJO!!!). So come on people tell your local club or venue that real dj's with real HOUSE music and real talent are here to blow yall away!!!!................. and now for your regularly scheduled program.

Ultra Music Festival 11 phase 2 Line-up updates!!

the latest line-up update for the best electronica music festival in the world is in!
i'm very excited for this year's UMF. For the first time, the fucking SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA are gonna play at Ultra this year!! Another first times include Markus Schulz and BookaShade!

It looks like they are going for high demands for both days this year since every year Ultra gets the most attendance on Saturdays, pretty much saving the best for last. But this year's Friday line-up looks JUST AS GOOD as Saturday.

Here is the deal. This is only the second phase line-up. The final line-up will be announced probably in a month, so expect more world famous artists to be added soon!

The prices hasn't gone up yet. It's still $129 for both days (which is still a VERY good price) and $350 for VIP.
Tickets for separate days will start being sold a month before the event. (in case economy hit you hard. or else attend BOTH DAYS!)

Ultra Music Festival 11 tickets are already being sold (and selling out fast) and the initial line-up has been posted on the official UMF website.

i know, i know.. it's not that cheap. but trust me, it will get even more expensive as time goes by.
