Tune of the mellow Week!

I'm finally back! I'm sorry for the super duper lack of posts lately. Life suddenly took a sharp turn for me and things are starting to pick up again. It's funny how life has its bright and dark sides, i think that in the end the purpose of this is to make us a better, wiser person. So with all this change, i think the Tune of the Week went perfectly for me.

Pogo - Alice <- Tune of the Week! VERY different from the stuff you will usually find here. But still a very nice song. Magic and intriguing, it has samples from the Walt Disney classic "Alice in Wonderland".

here is the music video. Better watchable under the influence of cannabis.

One Love.

Small, But Powerful

Well some loyal fans inspired me not to go on strike lol. This is a small post but considering the tracks on it it's huge. Just like Mighty Mouse, never judge a post by it's size lol.

Mark Knight & Funkagenda - Good Times (Original Mix) <---- Super excited for this track

Dirty South - We Are feat Rudy (Original Mix) <---- Bomb!!!

Mini Chill Out Beach Post:
16 Bit Lolitas & Ohmna - Take It Or Leave It

THIS MUSIC IS JUICY!!!

WEEEEEEEELCOME BACK GUARO!!!!!! LOL i'm back and blacker than ever. Sorry to everyone for not posting but i've been dealing with some family stuff so i havent had time for anything. But i'm back and lets get this party started.

Well if havent already found out, this week's feature artist of the week is my idol Mr. Juicy, ROBBIE RIVERA!!!

Rivera grew in Puerto Rico, he was a fan of Freestyle and Eurobeat when he bought two turntables to test himself in becoming a dj. He has learned the hard way and teaching himself how to deejay. Rivera used to play at weddings and school party gigs in which common deejays start off with (kinda like yours truly), but it was his natural talent that he used while working with the crowds that kept him playing in big clubs at age of 16. After graduation and high school, Robbie went to the Art Institute at Fort Lauderdale, FL to study music production and was introduced to many different digital audio tools. While in college he released hi first record, "Sorulla"; A track influenced by the Latin House. The track became popular in New York and Miami and his career was underway.

After major hits he has defintly travelled the world. As it says on his website: "His dj sets contaiong his infectous blend of tough sexy grooves have put him in high-demand. On a contiuous world-tour, and with a diary resembling an airport departure board his music has recently packed-ot the dance-floors of Ibiza, Barcelona, South America, Poland, Puerto Rico, NYC, L.A., Chicago, London, Asia, Italy, Tunisia, Canada, Moscow, Australia, Vienna, and of course his hometown of Miami." SOOP WOOP!!!

As well as a dj he is a very sucessful producer with his record label Juicy Records. His Label motto "This Music is Juicy" In which it is very much.

Ok nuff of me talkin, lets get to the tunage. And in honor of Robbie i made my own Juicy mix for all of you. Here we go.

Amazing Amelie Slinding Away under the Sunset is a Loving Late Night Thing.

Crazy weekend coming up and boy oh boy, i'm EXCITED. There's Robbie Rivera at Gryphon on Saturday, my 4/20 House Music BBQ Party on Sunday all day long and for afterparty; those who can still move should head to Miami for Laidback Luke at SET!

So to get you and me in the mood of jumping around like mexican beans, here's some more gangsta tunes.

Butch - Amelie <- great techno track that is making a buzz all around the net.

Butch - Amelie (Format B Remix) <- best remix of that same track.

Mass Prod - Sunset (Livio and Roby Remix) <- interesting track. Drum N Bass kicks (which i'm no fan of), haunting vocals for the ultimate techy sound (which i love).

Thomas Schumacher - Late Night Thing <- my type of track. Loungey with an intense bass kick.

Ray Okpara - Loving Moonbuah <- Tech House with all the right elements.

2020 Soundsystem - Sliding Away (Johnny D Vocal Mix) <- one of the best tracks of March! moving snairs, awesome effects, great vocal work and pumping bass!

Dominic Squearz Feat. Giliano - Amazing (Original Edit) <- Tech House BOMB!! Amazing is the right name for this track, that's for sure.

Jacking Tuesday.

Hey fellow, M&HM heads. Big weekend coming up (yes, i'm talking about 4/20), and i've been running around like crazy. Luckily, i got some time to upload some crazy tunes, so here we go.

whew, One Love.

Your neighborhood friendly movie news.

Why, hello there. Midweek posting madness starts.. NOW.
Here are some of the most interesting movie updates gathered into a meaty post.

*TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN will be long. According to Michael Bay himself, the movie's runtime is 147 minutes; or in other words, 4 minutes longer then the first.
When asked by MTV about what the studio had to say, Bay replied: "I don't even talk (to executives) about run times. Studios always ask, 'What's the runtime?' And i'm like, 'If you enjoy the movie, will you care?"

My reaction: the man has a point.

*TERMINATOR SALVATION's director McG is attached to direct a big screen adaptation of Broadway's smash hit: SPRING AWAKENING. Why YOU should care? Oh, because it features a group of bored teenagers in the 19th Century having a lot of sex and dealing with such problems as masturbation, abortion and rape. That's why.

*BIG NEWS: FAST & FURIOUS 5 to feature a lot of samba, cafe, carnaval! (see what i did there?) That's right, "Paul Walker and Vin Diesel do Brazil" is coming to a theater near you in the next couple of years or so.
When asked about a sequel on 104.3 MyFM in LA, that's what Walker had to say: "Vin and I will be coming back, we're making a fifth one. We are going to Brazil, that's it."

*THE EXPENDABLES is a movie coming up next year that you should google more often. It not only features Sylvester Stallone looking rather fuckin' fit, a kickass action movie cast, featuring; Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Jet Li, Danny Trejo, Terry Crews, and The fuckin' Governator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger, it is gangsta enough to be filmed in (you guessed it) Brazil.

*You thought Fast & Furious 5 was unnecessary? How about BOURNE 4? I mean, we pretty much figured out how Bourne became Bourne in the end of Ultimatum, what else is there? Apparently, a lot according to Bourne franchise producer Frank Marshall when tweeting that "Bourne 4 is scheduled for a 2011 release". So yeah, expect a lot more shacky cameras chasing Bourne chase bad guys around tiny corridors.

One Love!
