Your neighborhood friendly movie news.

Why, hello there. Midweek posting madness starts.. NOW.
Here are some of the most interesting movie updates gathered into a meaty post.

*TRANSFORMERS 2: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN will be long. According to Michael Bay himself, the movie's runtime is 147 minutes; or in other words, 4 minutes longer then the first.
When asked by MTV about what the studio had to say, Bay replied: "I don't even talk (to executives) about run times. Studios always ask, 'What's the runtime?' And i'm like, 'If you enjoy the movie, will you care?"

My reaction: the man has a point.

*TERMINATOR SALVATION's director McG is attached to direct a big screen adaptation of Broadway's smash hit: SPRING AWAKENING. Why YOU should care? Oh, because it features a group of bored teenagers in the 19th Century having a lot of sex and dealing with such problems as masturbation, abortion and rape. That's why.

*BIG NEWS: FAST & FURIOUS 5 to feature a lot of samba, cafe, carnaval! (see what i did there?) That's right, "Paul Walker and Vin Diesel do Brazil" is coming to a theater near you in the next couple of years or so.
When asked about a sequel on 104.3 MyFM in LA, that's what Walker had to say: "Vin and I will be coming back, we're making a fifth one. We are going to Brazil, that's it."

*THE EXPENDABLES is a movie coming up next year that you should google more often. It not only features Sylvester Stallone looking rather fuckin' fit, a kickass action movie cast, featuring; Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Brittany Murphy, Jet Li, Danny Trejo, Terry Crews, and The fuckin' Governator himself Arnold Schwarzenegger, it is gangsta enough to be filmed in (you guessed it) Brazil.

*You thought Fast & Furious 5 was unnecessary? How about BOURNE 4? I mean, we pretty much figured out how Bourne became Bourne in the end of Ultimatum, what else is there? Apparently, a lot according to Bourne franchise producer Frank Marshall when tweeting that "Bourne 4 is scheduled for a 2011 release". So yeah, expect a lot more shacky cameras chasing Bourne chase bad guys around tiny corridors.

One Love!
