big blog WTF..

C'mon!!

my last post, "YES WE CAN have some MAJOR BANGERS!" disappeared from the interwebs.

i don't know what happened and i can't seem to find it anywhere on my account. it just simply vanished!

it had some really good tunes that i've been saving and a picture of Obama taking the dirt off his shoulders (literally!). But Blogger decided to be gay and just went ahead and deleted my post.. or something.

so no tunes today.
just this picture.

SUPER REQUEST!!!

hi my house music heads,

today i ask for help.

i heard this track on the radio the other day. Cato K was playing it on the Y100.7 "Sex Afterhours" and it REALLY caught my attention. i was in a middle of a good conversation when it started playing, i had to tell my friend to hold on a second so i could turn the volume up on my car and record this track on my cellphone.

now i'm here asking IF ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW THIS TRACK, please let me know ASAP!

157am110108rec.mp3 -

You might need to turn the volume up a bit, yeah.

i expect some feedback!

P.S: YES WE CAN! ;)

It's that time again, Tune of the Week!

so, how did you guys like this track?

This is the work of combined super powers from Timo Maas, Santos and Alessandro Salvatori. Together they formed Mutant Clan (best name ever!).

Mutant Clan - Kenesai (Dub Mix) <- last week's Tune of the Week! (so you know it's good). Impusilve drums with a VERY catchy melody! good from start to end.

Enjoy.

Tune of the Week!

again, a tune has captured my ears and annoyed everyone around me.
How, you ask?
well, imagine living with me and everytime you come to see me in my room THIS TUNE is playing. Very loud, per se.

Ilario Alicante - Vacaciones en Chile <-incredible sound. Lounge-y but very bouncy. The type of tune that takes you by surprise.

News that Matters!

hello, my fellow fellows!
I will first apologize for those who are here everyday for the lack of content in the past week.
My bad.
In this last week alone i had family issues, money issues and a road trip. It's a bit much for my little brain.

Let's start the week fresh, eh?
Here are some highlights for upcoming movies that you should keep a keen eye on.

-Christopher Nolan (director of The Dark Knight if you don't know yet), when asked the golden question; "what's up with Bats 3?" had that to say:
"Well ... let me think how to put this. There are two things to be said. One is the emphasis on story. What’s the story? Is there a story that’s going to keep me emotionally invested for the couple of years that it will take to make another one? That’s the overriding question. On a more superficial level, I have to ask the question: How many good third movies in a franchise can people name? [Laughs.] At the same time, in taking on the second one, we had the challenge of trying to make a great second movie, and there haven't been too many of those either. It’s all about the story really. If the story is there, everything is possible. I hope that was a suitably slippery answer."

Pretty good answer. I would come up with a better one, but i'm not Christopher Nolan.
Let's just hope that's not it for Christian Bale and crew.

-The new international trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is now available online! I'm pretty sure it was leaked and not supposed to be seen yet, so go WATCH IT before "they" take it out!

-Underworld: Rise of the Lycans is the sequel for that movie with vampires and werewolves and that hot chick Kate Beckinsale woopin' ass. It's out on January 23rd and you can check out the HD trailer HERE.

This sequel looks great and all but there is no Kate Beckinsale!! They've actually replaced her with Rhona Mitra who looks a lot like the real thing.

-Weird man and actor Crispin Glover has joined Johnny Depp in the Tim Burton interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. He is set to play The Knave of Hearts. Other cast members include newcomer Mia Wasikowska (who plays Alice in the movie), Anne Hathaway and Helena Bonham Carter.

Alrite, too much.

See you in a little bit!
One Love.

Bombalistic!

*Que morena mais linda! Tinha que ser brasileira.

Back with some fresh (and not so fresh) tunes.

If you are a local DJ (South Florida) and wants your name all over M&HM, email me some of your work and i will publish it. That is if i like it (just kidding).

Dust N Haze - Receeder (Paul Anthony & ZXX Remix) <-great sounds, great build-up. Good tune to start an (you guessed it) Afterhours set.

Dj Chus, Peter Gelderblom - Feelin' 4 You (Oscar L & Ivan Pica Remix) <- fresh new remix for a already posted tune. Pretty basic but more house-y than Original and the other remixes.

Dario Nunez & David Vio - Morena Linda ( Jon Flores Remix) <-another great work from the man Dario Nunez remixed by one of progressive best Jon Flores. It's a crowd gatherer, ladies and gentlemen!

Reza - Live Again (Stonebridge Mix) <-"I'm not here to judge you!" interesting choice of vocals with a great piano loop throughout the tune.

Paul Thomas And Funkagenada Presents Ptfa - Gornal (Original Upper Mix) <-Minimalistic chill-out tune with a well synched climax. Pure awesomeness.

Federico Epis - Sensations (Ciprian Lemnaru Remix) <-Another minimal chill-out track. JUST AS awesome.

stay tune for some well deserved BOMBS coming up. Haven't posted some in a while, right?
One Love.

And finally, Tune of the Week!

sorry for the absence. i've been (trying to stay) busy.

it's nice to see that you guys enjoyed the feel changes made to the blog. i never thought M&HM would grow up to be such a big boy.

This song here is still my favorite for the moment. Not every track starts off good (they usually build up to the 2 minutes mark, then explode), but Surefire by Henrik B manages to start off powerful and end the same way.

get electrified: Henrik B - Surefire <-last 2 weeks (intentionally) Tune of the Week!

next?
-good tunes
-movie update that matters
-Autumn Music Festival update

One Love!
